Due to carious lesions, accidents or wear and tear of the tooth structure, it may be necessary to rebuild parts of the tooth. In modern dentistry, we have various materials at our disposal for this purpose. As an amalgam-free practice, we completely avoid the use of gray-silver materials containing mercury. In most cases, we use so-called composites (malleable, tooth-colored plastic-ceramic mixtures). These can be bonded to the tooth, allowing maximum protection of healthy tooth structure and a high degree of aesthetics to be achieved.
